Admissions Open in BS Biotechnology in DOW University Karachi

DOW University of Health Sciences has announced admissions in BS Biotechnology for the spring season of 2021.

BS Biotechnology:

Biotechnology is an extensive four years degree program. Biotechnology is one of the world's most growing fields of Research, innovation, and commercialization. The main aim behind this is to produce competent and technically trained human resources for future leadership of Biotechnology in both the field of Academia and industry. The BS-Biotechnology course has been extensively designed to produce competent human resources in the field of Biotechnology and to train the graduates to apply scientific knowledge to address locally prevalent health, environmental, food, and industrial issues.

Dow College of Biotechnology (DCOB):

Dow University of Health Sciences has specified a college for Biotechnology named Dow college of biotechnology. Dow College of Biotechnology was found in 2016. This College offering different programs in the field of Biotechnology for the spring season.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for admission to DOW College of Biotechnology are the following as:

. Intermediate Science( Pre Medical or Pre Engineering) or A-Level or Equivalent.

. The candidate must pass his/her Pre Medical or Pre Engineering exams with at least 60% of marks.

. The candidate must have a Domicile of Sindh.

How to Apply for Admission in BS Biotechnology:

Step. 1 In the first step, you have to download the application form from Dow University of Health Sciences.

Step. 2 Submit the Required documents of eligibility and paid fee challan of Rs 2000 only in United bank Ltd, Baba-e-Urdu Road Branch Karachi.

Note: The candidate must also fill the online application form available on the Dow website. www.duhs.edu.pk. Please also note that you have to submit TWO (2) Forms one form is the online form and the other one is offline.

Last date of form Submission:

The last date for the form submission is Tuesday, 12th January 2021.

Entrance Test:

For the admissions in BS Biotechnology, there is an Entrance test. Note that the venue and time for the test will be mentioned on the website soon. www.talibilm.com will also announce the entrance test date on the website.
