Your unique Strengths:
Let's jump right into those five questions question number one what are your unique strengths okay let's face it. We like a bunch of different things but we don't know what our passion is. Let me tell you, A secret most people on this planet don't know is that one single thing or that one single career that they want to pursue for the rest of their lives but you know what's worse than not knowing your passion. It's being told to follow it and if I was told back in school to follow my passion I would have been still dribbling a basketball in my backyard. So go grab a notebook and a pen and let's try to write down answers to these simple questions.
- Q.NO 01 What do people tell me I'm good at?
- Q.NO 02 What do people ask me to teach them?
- Q.NO 03 What am I willing to do for long long hours? even if I'm tired.
- Q.NO 04 When I meet a whole lot of new people do I feel energized or do I feel drained out?
- Q.NO 05 Am I a doer or a thinker?
But don't worry, if you don't have everything, stick with these questions right away. And when the answers come to your mind, they fill the list. But once you are able to answer these questions, you will know a few things. Expertise skills and competencies will be identified. For example, You can be good at editing movies or solving complex math problems. The second thing you are looking for is your experience in web designing, accounting, or programming. The third thing you are going to learn about yourself is your personality traits. For example, you are an extrovert or you are an analyst or you are creative. Now, this is where you will need to do some research on how to find job websites like LinkedIn, etc. Now map it to the list of skills you have created for yourself in question number one, for example, if you were not a transgender person then you might want to look for jobs like doctor, police officer, HR Manager, teacher, or salesperson. If you know you're creative and might want to be a UI UX designer or an architect or even a filmmaker or special effects creator or maybe a makeup artist. Question 3: How can I believe? We need to know the little thing we need to do to find the job of our dreams.
Before we go the whole hog into it and here are some ideas you could do an internship, you could shadow someone, you couldn't voluntarily work. I suggest making real conversations with people talk to them about their work. What they like about their work. What they don't like about their work. Also, join a lot of clubs. Basically engage with real people. You could also do short courses, weekend courses, online courses on some topics to get introduced to them before you decide whether you really want to pursue them or not. So there are a ton of courses available on topics like power management, pop global physiotherapy, food flavoring, tea tasting, sports law, and environmental biology. I don't know there are such exotic topics you will pick one try it out pick another one try it out a sample before you decide. Question number four what is the core of this career? Always answer this question before jumping into it the core of economics for example is mathematics the core of biomedical engineering? Is electronic and mechanical engineering really a core part of the law, not bio? It's not arguing that it's really reading and listening. Sometimes you want to be an RJ because you're a good speaker. Is the basic expert. Having a lot of information on a particular domain and a specific topic, for example, another advantage of being able to identify the core of a music career is that you can now focus on a few things. Skills are always hard to come by and success comes when you are able to survive through the dip.
So if the core of your career matches your unique strengths, you are determined to succeed. Question number five: What is the theory of future proof? Now, this is a very important question for you to answer before you choose your career because you are going to be involved in something that you want to know if it will be almost 20 years later. Is going to Will I be able to perform well in it? So here are some things you may want to look at to get to a conclusion. Why does the world need to look at industries that are performing well today and are expected to do well in the future? This could be for example healthcare, pharma, IT, education, media, maybe transportation, or politics. The second thing you want to look at is what are the areas that can give you space through artificial intelligence and the third thing you want to look at is career advancement. So for example, if you are currently doing CA or law, you know that you are more likely to have a private practice. If you want to do that but on the other hand if you choose an engineering career then chances are you will have to work for a manufacturing setup.
Conclusion:
Now that we've worked through these five key questions and you know what dream job you want to find. This is a bonus tip. Beware of the wrong reasons why some people want to be an investment, banker because they think they are going to buy a big house or a big car. These are the wrong reasons. Real success comes when You map it out. Career according to your natural abilities. Your ability to succeed and your own personality is strengthened. This means that if you are good at something, you are more likely to get ahead of it. Remember that finding the career of your dreams is a journey. Thanks
